Data Privacy Notice
It is a requirement of current data privacy legislation that organisations storing data about individuals have positive assent from them relating to the purposes for which it can be used.
The form below is used to join the TWRA and/or the local Neighbourhood Watch (NhW). We have a shared purpose to keep residents informed concerning matters that might impact local residents or the neighbourhood generally. As a result, we have many members in common and have arranged for details of those members to be held in the same database.
You have the option in the form below to indicate that you are applying to be a member of one organisation but not the other, in which case the data can only be used according to your indicated preference.
TWRA and NhW use the same organisation, Simmetrics Ltd., to process data and to distribute email newsletters and alerts on their behalf. Simmetrics will retain the data in a suitably secure environment entirely located in the UK. If at some future date you no longer wish to be a member of either or both organisations they have facilities to permanently remove your details from their IT systems.
Both TWRA and NhW will use your contact details to keep you informed. Information may be sent to you by email or by printed matter. Regular combined email bulletins are sent on behalf of both organisations. If you do not wish to receive these please indicate in the form below. (Printed copies of email bulletins are not available to be sent by post as an alternative.)
Details of the aims and objectives of both organisations can be seen via the TWRA web site www.tadworthwaltonra.co.uk or can be provided on request.
